Matthew 11.2-10
and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another? (Matt. 11:3 ) .
I do not know if you are Christian or not . If not , it is natural to ask the question above about Jesus . The Bible presents Jesus as the Son of God, as God himself made man as the salvation for all ills of the world , including to make sense of my own life . Is it really ? Not much else testifying against it exist? If you are a Christian , one imagines that there is no such doubts - otherwise , why would a Christian? However , even so , we all know they do exist . Sometimes the figure of Jesus as the Son of God seems distant and something so fantastic that we ask ourselves : Am I not making a fool of myself with my faith ?
John the Baptist , who departed this question , Jesus knew . It was not until a relative of Jesus, given that their mothers were cousins . John was also the first one announced with conviction that Jesus was the "Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world " ( John 1:29 ) and witnessed the confirmation of this by God when he baptized Jesus in the Jordan (John 1:32) . But suddenly appears a lot of reasons for him to ask : " Is it really ? " I'm sure you have read this message here , think at least worth thinking about it . Part of the process address these questions, so that the faith is not superficial. But how to solve the problem ? In fact the medium is obvious, and that's what John did : directed his question to Jesus himself - and received the answer you need , based on what he knew : the ancient promises of God . How about a suggestion ? Doubts about Jesus ? Talk to himself. Nobody better to inform and take the question .
