Rebellion

And it shall come to pass, that the man whom I shall choose, his staff shall bud forth; and I will make to cease from before me the murmurings of the children of Israel, that they murmur against you. 

Números 17:5

And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and all their princes gave him a staff, one staff for each prince according to their fathers' houses, twelve staves, and the staff of Aaron was among their staves. 

Números 17:6

And Moses laid the staves before Jehovah in the tent of the testimony. 

Números 17:7

And it came to pass, when on the morrow Moses went into the tent of the testimony, behold, the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi had budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and ripened almonds. 

Números 17:8

And Moses brought out all the staves from before Jehovah to all the children of Israel, and they looked and took each one his staff. 

Números 17:9

And Jehovah said to Moses, Bring Aaron's staff again before the testimony, to be kept as a token for the sons of rebellion, that thou mayest put an end to their murmurings before me, that they may not die. 

Números 17:10

After witnessing spectacular miracles, see the Egyptians were punished by pests and experience the real presence of God, the Israelites were still with their hard hearts complained about everything, rebelled against God and his servant Moses. We wonder how they could be so unbelieving, blind and ignorant, and even then we repeat the same mistakes of the Israelites. We have centuries of evidence, the Bible in many translations and convincing archaeological and historical studies that show us that God is who he says he is. But people keep walking and disobeying his pleasure. Like the Israelites, we are more concerned with our physical condition than the spiritual. We can only escape this pattern paying attention to all the signs of God given to us. God saves, guide and protect? He answers their prayers? Do you know people who have already received remarkable cures? Biblical history knows that show how God leads his people? Turn your heart and your mind to what God has done, and rebellion becomes inconceivable in your life.
